THE ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF STARTRONEX, A COMPANY FORMED TO SERVICE THE ENGINEERING & TELECOMMUNICATION ARENA
Renowned NBA Star Stephon Marbury is making yet another power move in the boardroom, as opposed to on the court, with the launch of Startronex. Marbury, CEO of Starbury Corporation, has recently announced the introduction of Startronex, an affiliate of Starbury, which has teamed up with DasNet Corporation, a premier provider of high-end government run systems to execute IT and Communications programs for the Military and Federal Agencies in the United States and abroad.
“I’m so blessed to be able to work with DasNet, as this partnership will allow me to further cultivate and grow my burgeoning enterprise working alongside one of the world’s most celebrated Engineering providers” stated Marbury.
Marbury, who began his NBA career at age 19, gained global notoriety for putting up career stats mirroring Hall of Fame Great Oscar Robertson. During Marbury’s 12-year NBA career, the starting point guard averaged approximately 20 points and 8 assists per game. However, in recent years, the basketball icon also became known for his savvy business acumen in the fashion world. In 2005, Marbury, the brainchild of Starbury Shoes and Apparel, began selling his high-quality yet affordable merchandise. It was an instant hit with millions of people around the world. Now, Marbury and DasNet are poised to soar to even greater heights in the Telecommunications world.
“We are excited about the opportunity to work with Stephon Marbury and his team at Startronex. Stephon is a basketball icon that has quietly built an empire around his God given talents. It gives me immense pleasure to make this announcement to our global staff and clients – current and future,” said the President and CEO of DasNet Corporation, adding that Marbury’s entrance into the U.S. federal, civilian, and defense markets is an exciting opportunity for both companies. “With his ability to command a presence as a forceful philanthropic figure who is also a prudent businessman and our breadth of experience supporting governments around the world, this is a natural migration for Startronex and great fit for DasNet. “
Startronex and DasNet are already hard at work, currently negotiating multi-billion dollar contractual agreements with DasNet in support of its Navy Seaport-E ($19 billion US), GSA Alliant SB ($15 billion US), and US Army Afghanistan MACC ($90 million US) contracts.
“Anytime Startronex can help provide first class communications systems to a person or a business, our mission will be accomplished,” Marbury said.
